Which phones does this work on?
LowSignalMail works on any phone that can send and receive text messages — a smartphone, dumb phone, feature phone, or burner phone — on any US carrier. No data plan needed. No cellular data signal or WiFi needed.
How does it work without internet or data?
LowSignalMail does not use internet, data, WiFi, apps, or browsers. As long as your phone can send and receive text messages, you can receive and send emails through LowSignalMail. Cellular signals for voice and text are much more widespread than cellular data signals. If you can call and text then you have enough signal for LowSignalMail.
Is it secure?
Yes! You authorize Google to give LowSignalMail access — we never see your password. We never store your messages (we only relay them to you, we never store them). You can revoke access at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details about how we keep your data private and secure.
How much does it cost?
You only pay for what you use. Each notification costs less than 2¢. Replying, composing a new email, or checking your inbox costs about 9¢. There are no subscriptions and no monthly fees. Top up your balance whenever you like, starting at $5. You can configure your settings to minimize your costs by allowing only certain senders or allowing notifications only at certain times of day. Depending on your use, $5 could last you months!
What if my balance runs out?
Email notifications pause until you top up. You can add to your available balance anytime from your settings page. You can set up low-balance notifications there, too.
